Fulfilling Lives:Ageing Better Consultation Feedback

The Big Lottery Fulfilling Lives: Aging Better Programme is a £70M fund where 100 LA areas including Rotherham are being targeted to apply for funding.  Funding is for activities that will engage older people in key decision making and shaping priorities for local action around loneliness and isolation. They expect local communities within each area to come together to form a partnership and are looking to award each partnership between £2 and £6 million for a project lasting between three to six years.   The partnership must be led by the Local Authority in the first stage, and then if successful by a voluntary and community sector organisation in stage 2.
