media_launchFollowing on from Electroville's launch of their Social Networking Guide, a hasitly convened surgery by Paul Webster of NAVCA, after the launch was a big success. Attended by representatives from RMBC, ILS and others, the group had to be persuaded to leave or they would probably still be there. There is a blog entry here all about it.

How to back up your emails quickly into word PDF Print E-mail
Written by Philip

To back up an entire folder of emails to a single text file so that every email is readable in sequence;

  1. Click on 'File' from the top menu in Outlook Mail.
  2. Click on the 'Import and Export' option
  3. Select the 'Export to File' option
  4. Choose the 'Tab Separated Values (Windows)' option
  5. It will then give you an option to select again the folder that you want to export to a file with a 'Save exported file as' option. You need to give the file a name and select the folder in which it will be saved.
  6. It will then ask you to confirm the action and a 'txt' file will be created with every document from that folder visible in sequence.
