Voluntary Action Rotherham

Kerry McGrath and Alison Thorp make up the Training and Development Team, part of the Volunteer Centre.  The training and development team provide good practice support around volunteer management to organisations in Rotherham. They support organisations in the following ways:

• Supporting them to register with the Volunteer Centre and recruit volunteers through our brokerage service
• Support in putting in place the correct policies and procedures, including volunteer mileage forms, volunteer policy etc.
• Good practice documents, enabling organisations to improve their volunteer management
• Training around a host of topics including support and supervision and motivation and retention.
