An Audience with… Rotherham Data Hub
Come along to find out about the new Rotherham Data Hub, a new website which will provide you with an insight into the communities you work with, and may be useful in providing detailed statistics to support grant applications.
Date: Wednesday 4th March 2020
Time: 10am – 12pm
Venue: The Unity Centre, St Leonards Road, Rotherham S65 1PD
This session will include a demonstration of the new Rotherham Data Hub website, www.rotherham.gov.uk/data. The website replaces the previous Rotherham Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) and is a single site that pulls together information about the wide range of factors that influence the health of people in Rotherham, ranging from lifestyle behaviours, such as healthy weight and alcohol, through to wider determinants, such as housing, transport, income, community safety and social networks.
Participants will have the opportunity to find out about the data, which will hopefully provide interesting insight into the communities you work with, and may be useful, for example, in providing detail to support grant applications.
The second part of the session will be an interactive opportunity for voluntary and community sector organisations to contribute their insight to help build a more complete picture of our communities. Data can only tell part of the story, and by adding a community voice perspective it will help everyone who uses the Data Hub to have a more rounded perspective of how these issues are felt and perceived by those living and working in Rotherham.
