Focus on Funding is back for 2019
The Yorkshire & Humber Funders’ Forum, in partnership with SYFAB and Barnsley CVS and thanks to support from Barnsley Town Hall and Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, are pleased to announce that after the success of last year’s event they will be holding the 4th annual Focus on Funding event in Barnsley.
This free event brings together Funding Advisors and Development Workers with a wide range of regional and national funding organisations, in order to share information and work more closely together.

Venue: Barnsley Town Hall, Church Street, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, S70 2TA
Time: 10.00am – 4.30pm
The morning will be dedicated to Funding Advisors, Development Workers and Funders. After lunch we are opening up the event to voluntary and community sector groups from across Yorkshire & Humber for a funders fair along with presentations from National Lottery Community Fund, Tudor Trust and Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
10.00 – 10.30 Registration & refreshments – Funders and Funding Advisors/Development Workers
10.30 – 11.00 Key note speakers, including Chris Dayson from the Centre for Regional Social and Economic Research at Sheffield Hallam
11.00 – 12.30 Panel conversations and discussions
12.30 – 1.30 Lunch and networking
1.30 – 4.30 Funding Fair open to community and voluntary groups. There will also be presentations from National Lottery Community Fund, Tudor Trust and Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
How to Book – Funding Advisors & Development Workers
We are anticipating that Funding Advisors and Development Workers will be attending for the full day, so you do not need to book separately for the afternoon session. Please book your place through Eventbrite here.
Funding Fair for Voluntary and Community Groups
There is a separate Eventbrite booking page for the afternoon Funding Fair, which is open to Voluntary and Community Groups from across the region.
To ensure that the event is available to the maximum number of organisations from across the region, tickets are restricted to 2 people per organisation.
