My front door goes outdoors
The My Front Door project is RMBC’s personalised approach to their Learning Disability Transformation Programme moving hearts and minds towards a positive future. The project aims to ensure people with a learning disability have access to community based services that promote independence, wellbeing and social inclusion.
My Front Door Goes Out Doors is an event which will be taking place at Clifton Park Garden Rooms on the 24th September, 10:00 – 14:00, situated at the side of the museum.
The day will be filled with activities and information for the individuals and those that support them to learn more about the opportunities and activities open to people now and in the future.
There will be performances – music and drama, music workshops, crafts, sporting activities, sensory tents and much more and places are filling up fast!
A Mobiloo will be there that will provide a safe, clean and private area for people that require changing facilities.
To ensure everyone gets maximum enjoyment from the day booking is essential. If you would like to attend please book your place(s) via email EnquiriesASC@rotherham.gov.uk and they will get back to you with confirmation.
