Wharfedale Foundation 10th Anniversary Celebration

The Wharfedale Foundation celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2019. Established in 2009 the Foundation provides small grants to organisations across Yorkshire and the Humber that build and strengthen communities by breaking down barriers and facilitating the integration of marginalised groups.

We will be holding an open meeting on Tuesday, 18thJune 2019 from 2pm until 5pm at the St. George’s Centre, Leeds when we will hear from David Warner – Social Change and Strategic Philanthropy Consultant, currently supporting the second phase of Civil Society Futures independent enquiry and Reverend Dr. Inderjit Bhogal OBE – theologian and Methodist minister, founder and President of City of Sanctuary movement. The Bradford Friendship Choir, one of the projects we funded last year, has been booked to entertain, and other funded projects will speak about their work.
