What if? Risk Management session for community groups and small charities
We’ve all been there, worrying about things that might or might not happen but, if it does, what could we have in place to reduce the impact?
As a community group or small charity, you will probably hold fundraising activities, have contact with the public, store personal information electronically, have volunteers, hold events or meetings in community spaces and having no risk management measures in place can leave you very vulnerable should things go wrong.
This free online session on Tuesday 14th December at 10am will explore some ‘What ifs’ and look at some of the measures you can put in place to reduce the risk to your group.
Some of the scenarios we will be covering include:
- Meeting in person and things to consider when sourcing/ accessing venues
- Fundraising and fundraising activities
- Things to consider before applying for larger pots of funding
- The difference between public liability, employers liability and professional indemnity insurances
To book a place or if there is anything specific you would like covering at the session please contact Sarah Kelly on firstname.lastname@example.org
This session will be delivered by Tim Larden, Ladbrook Insurance, a local company specialising in charity insurance.
