A SEN School, specialising in Conductive Education, is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as Deputy Head, starting in January 2025.

Paces School (rated Good by Ofsted in June 2024) is a small specialist setting with 58 pupils from ages 3-18. We provide bespoke curriculum pathways, tailored to meet the learning needs of our pupils and underpinned by the philosophy and methodology of Conductive Education. You would be part of a dynamic and innovative Senior Leadership Team passionate about ensuring positive outcomes for all our pupils.

Main Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and inspirational individual to join the senior leadership team (SLT) at Paces School, working in partnership to provide a safe, holistic and exciting learning environment to our pupils.

The successful candidate will:
• Work in partnership with the Headteacher and other senior leaders in formulating the aims and objectives of the school
• Establish policies for achieving the aims and objectives
• Manage staff and resources effectively and strategically
• Monitor progress towards the achievement of the school’s aims and

Objectives:
• Have some teaching responsibilities, demonstrating an outstanding ability to teach, plan and assesses.
• If the Headteacher is absent, the deputy headteacher will deputise, as directed by the governing board.
