Job Description

Sheffield Hallam University have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our team as a Heating Services Technician.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who enjoys problem solving, delivering excellent customer service, and working collaboratively as part of a wider trades team.

As Heating Services Technician, you can expect to provide specialist advice and practical support for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and ensuring the delivery of a range of reactive maintenance, remedial works and small-scale project works in and around the 70+ buildings within the Universities Campus.

In this role, you will need to use your excellent investigation and problem-solving skills, and great communication skills.

The salary range is £31,637 to £38,249 per annum, depending on experience. Within the trades team, we operate a 247 on-call service (rota'd 1 in 4 weeks) at a rate of £204.01pw standby plus additional payments for callouts. Weekend overtime is optional and available to meet demands of the business. (more information in the 'Benefits' section of the Job Details below)

Sheffield Hallam University also provide salary increments every April until the top of the grade is met (6)
