Job description

Flux aims to ensure that Rotherham’s 260,000 residents all have the opportunity for a quality experience through their engagement with culture by 2024.  This will lead the way to achieving our mission:

“Enable everyone in Rotherham to get creative more often.  By 2030 we will have established Rotherham as a new cultural democracy, ensuring that every citizen has regular and frequent opportunities to experience high quality arts and culture and to explore and express their own heritage and creativity”.

Flux is looking for an exceptional individual to be our Independent Chair and lead the consortium of partners towards realising Rotherham’s 10-year strategy.  We are looking for someone with a strong interest in the arts, established networks and experience of partnership and consortium working.  Our Chair will work alongside the Programme Director and consortium partners to set the strategic directive, leadership and governance of the programme, acting as a critical friend and ensuring best practice and accountability.
