Job Description

As a Project Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing administration support for projects at Voluntary Action Rotherham, including producing and maintaining up to date information about programmes, reporting, financial monitoring and collating data.

As a key member of the team at VAR you will both support internal operations as well as respond to queries from partners and the public, and welcome visitors to the building as part of the reception team.

As well as being able to undertake the different duties required, the successful candidate must be able to work alone or as part of a small team, communicate effectively with users of the building and have a keen eye for detail and a robust approach to data protection and confidentiality.

Voluntary Action Rotherham (VAR) is the lead body for supporting, developing and promoting the voluntary and community sector in the Rotherham Borough. Our role is to support and develop effective action to bring about positive change in the lives of individuals and communities in the local area.
