Adult Residential Learning

Northern College provides outstanding adult residential learning for people who are 19+. We offer a unique learning environment for community groups and organisation to sample education. These could be men’s, women’s & religious groups. Support groups for ethnic minorities, work clubs, parents and families or those who face multiple barriers to learning including substance misuse, ill-health, mental health issues, learning difficulties, and disabilities.

What we can offer:

Day visit (FREE) – this learning experience is ideal for those who are curious about Northern College but are not sure if they would feel comfortable coming for a three-day residential. Lunch and refreshments are provided, as well as a tour of the grounds and an introduction to learning at Northern College. There is also an option to create your own residential learning experience during this day.

Three-day residential (£45 per learner, FREE for those on means-tested-benefits) – This is a custom-made course for your organisation around the needs of your service-users. Examples could be confidence building (both classroom-based and outdoor learning), short filmmaking, volunteering and peer mentoring. During your stay, you will be provided with a private room, breakfast and three-course evening meal.
