Allen Lane Foundation

27th June 2019

The Allen Lane Foundation funds organisations that work with asylum seekers and refugees regardless of where they originate from.

They aim to assist with the provision of relevant advice, information or advocacy; with social or therapeutic activities aimed at lessening isolation; and work to help change public attitudes or policy in relation to immigration issues.  They also fund practical and emotional support; English classes; destitution support; hosting/accommodation projects; and drop-in costs.

There don’t seem to be any funding limits but the average grant across the foundation is £5000.

All applications received now, and before the early part of August will be considered in the following round – leading up to their October Trustees’ meeting.
