Assessing risk: beyond just the tick box workshop
Do you need to be better at considering the risks to your organisation or business?
Many charity managers, trustees or business owners, don’t properly consider the risks that their business or organisation faces. Whether it’s a case of not knowing where to start, thinking there just isn’t enough hours in the day or even simply thinking it’s not important enough to focus on, the fact is it’s good practice, important and essential to identify and manage organisational risks. If your cash flow dries up or your reputation is significantly damaged, you will wish you gave it some attention.
Who should attend?
This course is aimed at team leaders, supervisors, managers, directors, CEOs, trustees, board members, business owners, entrepreneurs who either don’t know where to start or if they are truly honest, need something to focus their attention on reviewing their approach to risk.
What will the course cover?
This session, will turn what can be a very dry topic into a dynamic and (dare we say it) fun experience, drawing on real life examples to help your organisation to survive and thrive and will include:
- defining risk
- the difference between ‘assessing risk’ and risk assessment
- how to use an organisational risk framework to identify and review the risks facing your organisation
- and much more!
