Charity collab to boost cashless donations
An ethical merchandise company has struck a deal with mobile proximity platform Thyngs to allow donors to make cashless payments to charities via a raft of products.
Merchandise firm The Sourcing Team has linked up with the mobile specialist so that charity supporters accessing promotional materials such as a volunteer badge or collection box can make instant cashless donations.
The partnership will also allow consumers the ability to access exclusive online content, such as promotional videos. This can then be tracked to measure the success of campaigns. Thyngs technology also allows charities to collect Gift Aid.
Last month Thyngs added PayPal to its payment options for charities taking cashless mobile donations via its platform.
The Sourcing Team only buys promotional merchandise from firms within its ethical supply chain. Ethical criteria includes a commitment to anti-bribery and anti-corruption, adhering to the Modern Slavery Act, promoting equality and diversity as protecting human rights.
