Community Life Survey Results

1st August 2019

Results of the government’s annual Community Life Survey have been published this month. The survey of 10,000+ respondents across Britain is managed by DCMS and is used to measure personal and economic well-being.

This year’s findings have revealed a decrease in the proportion of people who volunteer at least once a year to the lowest level in six years, as well as a decrease in people donating to charity. The findings also highlight that only a quarter of all respondents (25%) felt able to influence decisions affecting their local area.
