Community Placements needed for Medical Students

8th August 2019

The University of Sheffield are looking for community placements for third year medical students, the placements will last for four weeks and will involve the students working in partnership with community organisations on a range of projects and activities.

The placements will take place between Monday 18th November and Thurs 12th December 2019.

Students can work on stand-alone project work, or ongoing services, and might be in the organisation full time, or expected to work independently as well as spending time in the setting. We keep the goals of the placements very flexible so that the organisation can use the placement in ways that are beneficial to them.

For full details on the placements download the handbook here.

The deadline for expressions of interest is Friday 23rd August.
