DM Thomas Foundation for Young People

4th April 2019

The Foundation gives grants to registered charities helping disadvantaged young people in the UK and Ireland. There is approximately £200,000 available to distribute each quarter. They say the maximum is £30,000 per year for up to two years, however past grant lists show very few above £10,000.

They look for groups working in the areas of education or health with children and young people:

• with disabilities
• who are sick in hospital
• who are life limited (requiring palliative care)

The website says 38% of applications were successful.

The next deadline is 7th May 2019. Visit the Foundation website here
