Enterprise Development Programme
The Enterprise Development Programme is a five year, £40m programme funded by Access – The Foundation for Social Investment and managed by a coalition of partners.
The initiative will provide a broad range of support for charities and social enterprises in England helping them make a transition to new enterprise models, or grow existing ones.
Initially the programme will be aimed at organisations covering homelessness and youth services. These are described as “fields of untapped enterprise development”
Feasibility grants of £5,000 to £10,000 will be available to organisations just starting to develop their enterprise function.
Development grants of around £50,000 will be available for organisations scaling up an existing enterprise function and exploring how they might use social investment.
The grants programme will be open on a rolling basis and we expect that we will continue to be open for applications until June 2019 but the exact date will depend on levels of demand for grants.
