Expert Crowdfunding Workshop

Sheffield Social Enterprise Network has partnered with and arranged for Crowdfund 360 to deliver a 2 hour workshop aimed at social entrepreneurs and social impact businesses who may be curious about running a crowdfunding campaign. Crowdfunding is a mix of science, creativity and logic. When done right, it can bring new customers, investment opportunities, extra access to grant funding, PR, and increased sales.

Wednesday 19th September, 9am – 11am at University of Sheffield, The Diamond Workroom 2, 32 Leavygreave Rd, Sheffield S3 7RD

This interactive expert workshop will cover the 6 key stages of running a successful crowdfunding campaign.

  • Introducing crowdfunding and the planning process
  • Storytelling
  • Building a crowd
  • The perfect project page (regardless of platform used)
  • Communicating your campaign
  • Following up

As well as the above, this workshop will allow participants to take a practical look at campaigns that may be similar to their own. All Participants will have the chance to create some of the information needed to start their own campaigns
