Get your nominations in for this year’s Community Achievement Awards

20th August 2018

Don’t miss out on the chance to acknowledge the unsung heroes who make a real difference to the community in Rotherham.

This is the fifteenth year of the awards which were established to celebrate all that is good about the borough’s voluntary and community sector.

The awards aim to seek out the best volunteers, young volunteers and projects and, at the same time, highlight all the great work taking place in our communities right across the area.

Rotherham has some great organisations, community groups, projects and volunteers delivering much valued support and services to Rotherham residents.

More often than not the tireless work of the voluntary and community sector, much of which is done on a completely voluntary basis, goes unrecognised.

The awards aim to recognise, highlight and celebrate the work of individuals and projects that have made a significant difference to the communities of Rotherham.

The last date for entries is 31st August 2018.

Award categories are: Volunteer, Young Volunteer and Project

Entries are invited from volunteers, staff, service users and anyone with knowledge of a particular project or volunteer.

For entry forms visit the Voluntary Action Rotherham website. If you have any questions, please contact 01709 829821.
