Heat Heroes Awards 2018
The Heat Heroes Awards aim to recognise individuals who have gone ‘above and beyond’ to help people living in fuel poverty in their local community in England and Wales. This can be through work or through voluntary activities outside of the workplace.
If this sounds like someone you know; and you’d like to get them the recognition they deserve then once the awards launch in September just fill in the form which will become live below, and tell us in less than 500 words why you think they deserve to win. Send us anything else you want to include too, for instance positive comments from people they’ve helped or a letter of support.
The scheme is run by National Energy Action in partnership with Vaillant. Anyone can make a nomination, however only those from not-for-profit organisations (including local authorities, health and social care agencies, voluntary and statutory agencies and community groups) are eligible to be nominated and named as Heat Heroes.
Deadline for nominations: 16 November.
