Keep your Community Safe & Well

9th May 2019

Do you work with people who have issues with drug and alcohol? Or, people who belong to migrant or ethnic minority communities? Perhaps, elderly people or any other vulnerable groups?

Evidence suggests that people at the highest risk of fire-related death or serious injury are from vulnerable or hard to reach groups.

Become a Safe & Well Ambassador and learn about how to support people in your community. You could also achieve a Level 1 unit in volunteering!

It is hosted by Northern College running in conjunction with South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue. This FREE training will provide you with tools to make sure everybody in your communities is Safe and Well.

The next Safe and Well Ambassador courses are:

  • Wed 29th – Fri 31st May 2019
  • Fri 28th – Sun 30th June 2019
  • Mon 29th – 31st July 2019
