Leadership for Empowered Communities and Personalised Care Programme – recruiting now!

31st July 2019

The national Leadership for Empowered Communities and Personalised Care Programme (LECPC) is now open to applications.

The programme is for senior leaders, clinicians, transformation leads, commissioning and service managers in health, social care, the voluntary sector and beyond, who want to be part of a movement for change in public services. Participants will join a network of alumni who are championing community wellbeing and transforming systems across the country.

In response to the emphasis placed on personalised care in the NHS Long Term Plan, this year’s programme has been extended to help leaders meet the new challenge of making personalised care a reality in health and care, by exploring the major shift in power and decision-making that needs to take place at a local level.

The programme involves a series of one-day workshops (one of which is residential), action learning sets, one-to-one leadership coaching sessions, a Myers-Briggs (MBTI) analysis of personality style and a specialist 360-degree feedback diagnostic.
