Looked after Children and Young Carers
The British and Foreign School society have created a new programme dedicated to improving approaches to the educational attainment of ‘looked after children’ and young carers in the UK.
They are looking for projects running up to three years, with a minimum grant of £20,000 per year, with some match funding in place.
The outcomes they want to promote are:
- Looked after children and young carers are provided supplementary support that results in improved educational attainment.
- Interventions made in the delivery of supplementary educational support for looked after children and young carers are proven to be effective and scalable.
The next deadline is 27th August 2018.
