New Chairman appointed at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH)

Alan Lockwood, of Horncastle, Lincolnshire, will take up the post on July 1.

Alan replaces the outgoing Chairman, Lawson Pater, of Doncaster, who is retiring.

Alan has previously worked as the Deputy Chairman and as a Senior Independent Director at the Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, has worked for the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority and for the Ministry of Defence. He also has a distinguished career in the military.

Alan said: “I am delighted to be appointed as the new Chairman of RDaSH and look forward to meeting as many patients, carers and staff as possible during my first few months.”

Christine O’Sullivan, Lead Governor at RDaSH, said: “I want to welcome Alan to the Trust. He has a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise which will benefit RDaSH.
