Parkgate Sustainable Tenancies Project – Action Housing
Action currently have 27 units of accommodation available due to the loss of our YP tender, which we would like to continue to utilise as supported accommodation and as part of a Sustainable Tenancies Project. The £1 million build opened in 2016 and was possible due to significant investment from Homes England. The site is covered by CCTV and comprises of:
Land Aid Building – 6 x 1 bed en-suite rooms with shared living room and shared kitchen
Library Building – 9 x 1 bed en-suite rooms with shared living room and shared kitchens
Action House – 12 x 2 bed self-contained apartments which have never been occupied.
STP provides clients with safe, secure accommodation and a tailored housing management plan, which identifies and assists them to address any tenancy issues they may have had in the past. This then enables them to sustain a tenancy successfully and move-on into independent living in general needs accommodation.
Action are looking for partners who can utilise the accommodation for their specific client needs providing the tailored support whilst Action provide the tenancy sustainment.
