The charity supports a wide range of charitable projects with an emphasis on hard to fund work on social reform and tackling the root causes of social inequity. It has two main focusses:

  • Yorkshire
  • Southern Africa, particularly Zimbabwe (though groups must have a UK bank account)

Your organisation does not have to be a charity to apply, but its work must satisfy the Charity Commission’s definition of charitable purposes and public benefit. Most grants are £1,000 – £3,000; they will contribute to core costs.
