Small Charity Index: Five Year Trends report

24th June 2019

The report contains the findings gathered over 5 years (2013 – 2018), where the same questions were asked each quarter to its small charities, UK based members.

Key points include an increase in demand for services from small charities, as well as an increase in cuts to statutory services. The cause most frequently supported was children and young people, followed by health, community/welfare and disability, with Sport supported the least. 3 in 10 small charities said they fear closure in the next 12 months.
