Social Investment Breakthrough – Groundwork South Yorkshire

Social Investment Breakthrough, funded by the Connect Fund, which is managed by the Barrow Cadbury Trust, is a new initiative providing a programme of support to charities, social enterprises across the South Yorkshire region who would like to access Social Investment.

As part of this programme, Groundwork South Yorkshire is researching into existing barriers to access social investment There is a survey link to complete here.

Groundwork South Yorkshire are interested in hearing from Charities, Social Enterprises and Voluntary Sector organisations seeking social investment; this can include enterprises wanting to grow their business and/or develop a trading entity to supplement existing trading activities.

As part of the Social Investment Breakthrough programme, Groundwork South Yorkshire can provide support to the boards of organisations to meet the significant challenges involved in accessing social investment in the current environment.

There will be some workshops in early 2019 to work with boards to improve their understanding about social investment opportunities and provide 1-1 support to help you access investment. You can your interest through the short survey here.
