The COVID-19 vaccine is now available to all adults over 18 years old

23rd June 2021
Everyone over the age of 18 is now being invited to book their COVID-19 vaccination through the local vaccination service.

As the number of Delta variant cases increase nationally, it is extremely important that eligible people come forward to have their COVID-19 vaccine to help protect them, their loved ones and their communities from the virus.

Everyone can now book their COVID-19 vaccine as long as they are:

  • 18 years old or over and not had their first dose of the COVID vaccine
  • Registered at a Rotherham GP practice

All first dose appointments in Rotherham over the coming weeks will be the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

And if you’ve already had your first dose, remember to get your second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine gives you the best protection against the Delta Variant. Please get your second dose when it is offered to you.

If you have not been invited for your vaccine and are not registered to GPs in Swallownest, Thurcroft, Dinnington and Kiveton Park, call the local service on 0300 3035258 to book an appointment at one of our Rotherham sites.

The Rotherham booking line will be open at the following times:

  • Monday to Friday – 9am to 8pm
  • Saturday and Sunday – 9am to 5pm

If you are registered at a Swallownest, Thurcroft, Dinnington or Kiveton Park GP surgery, please send your full name, date of birth, GP practice, contact number and postcode to the secure email address roccg.rvspcn.covidqueries@nhs.net. Someone will contact you to arrange an appointment.

Let’s all work together to reduce the risk of the virus and protect our communities.
