There’s still time to get your nomination forms in for the Rotherham Community Achievement Awards!
We have extended the deadline for this year’s Community Achievement Awards to 5pm on 5th September, so there is still time to get your nominations in.
Organised by Voluntary Action Rotherham on behalf of the Rotherham Together Partnership, the Community Achievement Awards are held annually to celebrate the work of individuals and projects in the voluntary and community sector that have made a significant difference to the communities of Rotherham.
There are three categories you can nominate people or organisations for:
- Volunteer – This award recognises someone in Rotherham who has made an outstanding contribution to people and communities in Rotherham in a voluntary capacity.
- Young Volunteer (Under 25) – This award recognises someone in Rotherham aged under 25, who has made an outstanding contribution to people and communities in Rotherham in a voluntary capacity.
- Project – This award recognises a project in Rotherham that has made an outstanding contribution to people and communities in Rotherham.
Those shortlisted will be invited to a glittering awards ceremony and dinner at the Carlton Park Hotel in November. They will receive a prestigious award in recognition of their work and lots of useful publicity as well.
If you know someone that deserves recognition for the fantastic work they do in the community then nominate them and give them a night to remember.
If you would like to nominate an individual or an organisation for an award please fill out a nomination form, available to download from www.varotherham.org.uk/community-achievement-awards. Hard copy nomination forms are also available by contacting Voluntary Action Rotherham 01709 829821.
Closing date for nominations is 5pm, Thursday 5th September 2019.
