Thrybergh Community Super Hero Fun Day 2019

We would like to invite your organisation to a special community event held in Thrybergh Country Park. On Sunday 23rd June the park will be transformed into a Heroes paradise to celebrate local charities, not for profit organisations and community groups in Rotherham.  This is a free event for charities to attend,  show case what they do and an opportunity to raise funds. This will be our 4th year running the event which attracts thousands of local residents of all ages.

Aim of event
This event aims to bring together local community groups, charities and social enterprises in order to show case their “Super Hero” work for the residents of Rotherham.

Country Park activities
The event also aims to encourage people of all agers and abilities to enjoy learning and playing in the countryside.   The Super Hero theme returns due to popular demand. Activities will be aimed for all ages to enjoy including face painting, crafts, speed boat rides, treasure hunts, climbing wall, archery, caving, fairground rides, and field games.  There is also a beautiful reservoir walk and Lakeside Café onsite for visitors to extend their stay.
