VCSE Grants opportunities to support mental health in Rotherham applications open

21st October 2021

Over the last year, society has changed completely for all of us, impacting on everyone’s physical and mental wellbeing.  We have seen unprecedented changes in society, the repercussions of which are not yet all apparent.  Because of this, we are now running a grants scheme in conjunction with Rotherham Clinical Commissioning group. This is open to all voluntary and community organisations in Rotherham who want to help support positive mental wellbeing at this time, and to help reduce the impact of covid.  For example, you might have become aware of new issues and needs within your community or organisation.  Or perhaps an informal zoom meeting has come up with some great ideas around how you could help people improve their emotional wellbeing.

All activity MUST target adults who are experiencing poor mental health and  who live in Rotherham; and should be  ‘covid proof’; you should be able to start quickly, and continue during any further ‘lock-downs’

There are 3 different grants available, the same application form is used for all three.

  • The small grant is for funding between £500-£3000 per year and you can ask for funding for up to 3 years (so up to £9k).
  • The second grant “medium” is for funding up to £10,000 and again you can ask for funding for up to 3 years (so up to £30k)
  • The final grant is specific for BAME led organisations with a single year grant of up to £3,000. BAME led organisations may also apply for the small or medium grant for a different project. (submit a second application)

Please ensure you read the guidance fully before you submit your application (see below)

Deadline for applications is Monday 15th November 12 noon.
