Veolia Environmental Trust
Funding is available to constituted, not for profit groups for capital improvement projects.
Projects must make a real difference to people’s lives or the environment.
Applications may be for up to 90% of the total project cost as long as it is no less than £10,000 and no more than £75,000. You must have 10% of the total project cost in cash before you submit your Stage 1 Application.
The project site or facility must or will (as result of the project) be available for use / booking by the general public for a minimum of 104 days per year.
The trust will fund:
- community buildings and rooms: e.g. community centres, village halls, community spaces within religious buildings, Scout or Girl guiding buildings
- outdoor spaces: e.g. public parks, nature reserves, community gardens, footpaths, bridleways or cycle-paths
- play and recreation: e.g. play areas, skate parks, Multi Use Games Areas (MUGAs), sports grounds, pavilions or changing rooms.
Grants must go to work close to Veolia operations. Currently, only parts of South Yorkshire are eligible. There is a postcode checker to check if you are in an eligible area here.
