Volunteer Management Training Course – Recruitment, Selection and Management. COURSE FULLY BOOKED
Full day (9:30am – 4:00pm)
Combining a mixture of interactive, individual and group activities, this full day course explores a range of topics including; advertising your volunteer role, recruitment, selection and management. Using case studies and plenty of opportunity for group discussion, we will encourage you to ‘think outside of the box’, with a view to put putting new processes in place, or improving your current volunteer management processes.
This course is delivered by Kerry McGrath, who has worked for over 12 years at Voluntary Action Rotherham and is an experienced trainer; delivering courses in volunteer management, social action and bespoke training courses. Part of Kerry’s role is to work with local volunteer involving organisations just like you, to help you to improve your volunteer management systems and help with any queries around good practice.

This course is the first of three in a series that Voluntary Action Rotherham are offering over the next 12 months. £50 Public sector, or Private sector groups, both Rotherham based and outside of area. A charge will also apply to Voluntary and Community sector groups who are not VAR members.
Refreshments are provided, but please bring your own lunch. Alternatively, there is a sandwich shop 5 minutes from the Spectrum, that provides a range of lunch options, at a reasonable price.
One place per organisation can be booked – but additional places can be allocated nearer to the course date, where places are available.
