What matters to you?
Voluntary Action Rotherham is working with South Yorkshire , Bassetlaw and North Derbyshire Cancer Alliance to help transform the care given to people in our community, who have been affected by cancer. Whether you were a patient, family member or carer, your experience could help develop a better understanding of what really matters to people affected by cancer.
We would like to know what really mattered to you at the time and what could have been done differently, understanding that could help improve how cancer services are delivered in our area.
Asking patients “What matters to you? focuses discussions on what is important to patients rather than what is a matter with them. We are developing a short online awareness raising session where we will work with those supporting patients / individuals to promote the types of discussions that are helpful. You can help us to get key messages to professionals about what is important to you or what was important during your own cancer journey (or someone close to you)?
