About the event
Delivered by Yorkshire Sport and led by Nicola Holmes, this workshop will help people recognise, intervene and prevent racist incidents. We want to help people take action against racism in sport and to create inclusive and safe environments.
Session aims and content:
Discuss racism and microaggressions.
Discuss the role of bystanders in the prevention of abuse.
Identify a range of tools that can be used to safely support or challenge others.
Describe ways to support individuals who may disclose abuse.
