Driving

From the M1 Motorway

Leave the motorway at Junction 33 of the M1. If traveling from the North, take your first left off the roundabout onto the A630 Rotherway. If traveling from the South, move into the right hand lane of the slip road and take the third exit on the roundabout (onto the A630 Rotherway).

At the first roundabout (0.25 miles) take the first exit following the signs to Magna.

At the next roundabout (0.5 miles), take the second exit again following the signs to Magna.

At the next roundabout (1 mile) take the third exit signposted towards Rotherham Town Centre.

Take the second road to the right, which takes you behind the New York Tavern. You will see the building directly in front of you.

From St Ann’s Roundabout

Follow the A630 Centenary Way. As you approach the roundabout stay in the left hand lane and take the third exit, (you will pass the Rotherham Interchange on your left), continuing on the A630. Go straight ahead at the next roundabout.

You will then approach another roundabout. Take the first exit onto Main Street. Continue along Main Street until you reach a set of traffic lights, turn right onto Westgate. Continue along Westgate until you see the New York Tavern on your left. Take a slight left turn onto Coke Lane. VAR’s premises are directly in front of you.

Parking

Numerous pay-and-display car parking facilities are available on Westgate and Sheffield Road very close to VAR and The Spectrum. The best option is Westgate Road car park, currently £3.00 for all day, or £1.50 for four hours.
