About the event

Does your organisation involve people who are caring for others? An unpaid or informal carer is anyone who cares for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, poor mental health or an addiction, cannot cope without their support.

Rotherham Council's Adult Social Care department are currently developing the next Carers Strategy for Rotherham, building on the cornerstones of the current Borough That Cares framework - to ensure carers can live well, be active and have fulfilled lives.

We'd like to invite you to join us in conversation with Katy Lewis, RMBC Carers Strategy Manager to discuss the development of this work.

Katy will share reflections of the achievements of the past few years and updates on the information and support available for carers. There will also be an opportunity to review and discuss the aims of the future carers strategy and contribute your views on this.
