About the event
Calling all Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations and anyone interested in adult safeguarding in Rotherham.
Join us online* on Friday 16th January 2026, 10am – 11.30am, for an In Conversation With session with Moira Wilson (Independent Chair, Rotherham Safeguarding Adults Board) and Jackie Scantlebury (Safeguarding Adults Board Manager, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council).
The Board values the crucial role that the VCS and local communities play in creating safer, stronger environments. A proposed new Safeguarding Adults Voice Group aims to ensure the people you support are heard, respected, and able to influence how safeguarding services are developed and delivered.
Resident or ‘customer’ voice is central to continuous improvement, and VCS organisations have a key part to play in this work. The RSAB wants to hear how you, and the people you support, would like to be involved in shaping the future of safeguarding in the borough.
