In Conversation With...Simeon Leach, Pathways to Work (Rotherham Council)

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council have just launched the second stage of the Pathways 2 Work, Economic Inactivity Trailblazer program and are inviting applications. 

The purpose of the program is to work with economically inactive residents referred through the Pathways to Work Triage team, providing them with the knowledge, skills and confidence to secure and remain in sustainable employment.

Applicants will need to consider the delivery of personalised support activity, such as:

• Delivery of core and/or specialist employment support interventions, through bespoke , personalised support, tailored to the needs of each individual.

• Additional support, including access to other services and wraparound activity, to help overcome barriers to the labour market and prepare for employment

• Support to progress into employment and support during the initial transition into the workplace.
