Purpose of Post
The Fundraising & Events Coordinator will play a key role in planning, coordinating and delivering the
Trust's fundraising, networking and engagement events whilst supporting the development of new
partnerships, sponsorships and fundraising opportunities. The postholder will contribute to the generation of unrestricted income through events, community fundraising, corporate engagement and supporter stewardship and help build a sustainable pipeline of donors, sponsors and supporters. Working closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager, the postholder will also produce routine promotional content, participant communications and event coverage within agreed campaign plans, brand guidelines and approval processes. They will lead the Trust’s work with volunteers including recruitment, onboarding and deployment.
Fundraising
Support delivery of set unrestricted income target.
Develop and coordinate community fundraising opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with supporters, sponsors and donors.
Deliver excellent stewardship and maintain a fundraising pipeline.
Events
Lead the planning and coordination of fundraising and engagement events.
Manage event logistics, registrations and administration.
Coordinate suppliers, venues and volunteers.
Complete post event evaluation and income reconciliation.
Corporate Partnerships & Business Engagement
Support the development of corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
Lead on the planning and delivery of networking and business engagement events.
Marketing & Promotion
Work with the Marketing and Communications Manager to promote campaigns and events.
Support content creation and promotional materials linked to fundraising and events.
Data Management & Administration
Maintain accurate CRM records and GDPR compliance.
Produce fundraising and event performance reports.
Volunteers
Lead the recruitment, onboarding, induction and retention of volunteers across the Trust's programmes and events.
Maintain accurate volunteer records, compliance documentation and training records in line with safeguarding, GDPR and organisational policies.
Monitor volunteer activity and produce reports on recruitment, retention, training and impact.
