Job Description
KPCP is a community-based charity improving opportunities and outcomes for children, young people and families.
We deliver youth programmes funded through BBC Children in Need and the Universal Youth Work Fund.
The Role
· Lead youth provision for ages 8-19, including:
· Chat n Chill Junior & Senior
· Junior Youth Club & Senior Youth Club
· Xclusive targeted youth sessions
Essential:
Experience supporting autistic children and young people, with understanding of autism, neurodiversity,
sensory needs, and positive behaviour support.
Key Responsibilities
· Leading and coordinating youth provision
· Supervising and supporting Youth Workers
· Planning creative, inclusive activities
· Supporting young people and families
· Safeguarding responsibilities
· Session planning and evaluation
Qualifications & Checks
· Level 3+ qualification in Youth Work or a relevant subject (or equivalent relevant experience)
· Experience leading or coordinating youth work/groups
· Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List (or willingness to obtain)
· Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
