Over the next few weeks, we will be leading the Plan for Neighbourhoods consultation.
The government is investing £20million worth of investment into specific wards in Rotherham over the next ten years; we need you to help decide what the money should be spent on.
We want to ensure that decisions made about this money are guided by the community, and the people who should directly benefit from the investment.

Throughout the next few weeks, we will aim to speak with people from all the areas that will receive the investment, as well as other residents who have ideas to improve the Town Centre. We are working with several VCS groups to ensure we hear from a diverse and wide range of people as possible.
We understand that consultations can sometimes be frustrating, especially when you are not told what happens after your involvement, and what decisions are then made as a consequence. We are committed to ensuring that we share updates on this work, and provide clear information on the outcomes. So please keep an eye out for these on our communication channels.
There are various ways you can take part:
Complete or share the online consultation with your colleagues, folks you support, friends and family. It should only take 5 minutes and is presented in a creative way!
Visit one of the pop-up stalls in your area - please see the attached flyer below created from Rotherham Council which lists where these are!
Or reach out to our new Neighbourhood Development Worker, Tanya Kiemo: tanya.kiemo@varotherham.org.uk to find out more.
We'd really appreciate it if you could download a poster to display in your area. We've made individual posters for each ward that you can download below!
