Job Description
We are a charity providing specialist therapeutic counselling and sexual violence supporting people who have experienced the trauma of abuse. Rothacs specialises in enabling clients to rebuild their lives following rape, sexual or domestic abuse, including childhood sexual exploitation.
We are currently looking to recruit a Finance Officer to work alongside the Chief Executive Officer to ensure efficient and effective financial management of the charity. The role involves responsibility for maintaining financial and accounting services to meet the legal, statutory, charitable and contractual obligation of Rothacs. In addition, the Finance Officer will be responsible for production of budgeting and forecasting reports, supporting the Chief Executive Officer in financial funding applications and provide expertise to the organisation alongside working with the team supporting day to day financial requirements and developing systems to drive efficiency.
The applicant must be qualified to Level 3 AAT or equivalent as a minimum and preferably with experience of financial management in the charity or similar sector.
The position is for 20 hours a week but is flexible in that delivery and location. We have the capacity to work both from the office and at home and are flexible in our approach to this delivery dependant on the successful applicants and needs of the service.
