Voluntary Action Rotherham brings together voluntary and community Sector (VCS) organisations in Rotherham to ensure they have the opportunity to get involved in and influence decision-making across the borough.

We recruit and support individuals from VCS organisations to become representatives for the sector and to play an active role in Rotherham Together Partnership meetings and other strategic decision-making forums.  This gives us a chance to present views from the sector and influence decisions on how services are provided locally.  It also raises the profile of VCS organisations, offering an opportunity to gain greater recognition for the work they do.  They are also required to report back any information from meetings which is relevant to the sector, thus keeping members informed of any changes or new opportunities.
